The 25 vitality factors:
Your foundation for longevity & health

Over the past ten years, I have intensively explored how to specifically strengthen and balance body and mind. This work has resulted in a system of key vitality factors – measurable health areas that demonstrably impact energy, resilience, and healthy aging. Each of these factors represents a clearly defined aspect of your health – with specific biomarkers that indicate how well you are performing in that area. Using a data-driven approach, these areas can be specifically analyzed and optimized through individualized interventions.

The crucial point is that every single factor influences your entire system. If one is consistently neglected, your body becomes unbalanced – and that's precisely where illness begins.

If you want to learn how to understand, apply, and sustainably integrate these vitality factors into your everyday life, then my Longevity Coaching training is just right for you. In a structured 4-month program, you will develop in-depth knowledge and practical skills – for your body, your mind and your long-term health.

Vitalitätsfaktoren V1.3

The most important vitality factors

optimalesvitamind.png

One of the key vitality factors is vitamin D.

It is essential for your body: Vitamin D influences over 3,000 gene expressions, plays a key role in bone metabolism and sustainably strengthens your immune system.

The ability to keep your vitamin D levels consistently at an optimal level over several months is a real achievement – because you are making a crucial contribution to the health of your entire system.

Another key factor for vitality is restful sleep – your body's natural regeneration phase.

The goal: to improve sleep quality and efficiency, promote genuine recovery, and optimally support your body's nightly regeneration. Crucial to this is living in harmony with your circadian rhythm – that is, your natural biological day-night cycle.

The basis is a reliable sleep tracking system, e.g. with the Oura Ring, to work on your sleep health in a data-driven and individualized way.

Nutrition as a vital factor: Personal. High-quality. Effective.

Optimal nutrition is more than just healthy – it is personalized and sustainable.

The basis: high-quality, preferably organic foods (e.g., organic meat and fish), combined with intermittent fasting and a conscious approach to sugar.

Reduce sugar, lactose and gluten – and ensure a balanced intake of healthy fats and high-quality proteins.

The goal is an individual diet that suits you – ideally tailored to your genetic predisposition, because: Every body is different.

fitdurchfasten.webp

Fasting as a vitality factor: Repairing oneself through one's own power

Fasting is more than just abstinence – it's a natural repair process. During fasting periods, your body activates autophagy: a kind of cellular self-cleaning in which damaged cells are broken down and renewed.

This process begins after just 12 hours without food – however, 16 to 18 hours of intermittent fasting is ideal to give your body enough time to regenerate.

Fasting creates the necessary rest so that your body can initiate profound repair and cleansing processes – entirely without external intervention.

The vital factor of respiration and water: The foundation of life

Breathing and water are the most basic resources of our body – and yet they are often underestimated.

Many of us have forgotten how to breathe properly: We breathe too quickly, too shallowly, and often through our mouths. This leads to an imbalance in our oxygen and carbon dioxide levels.

By consciously breathing slowly and nasally, we learn to take in only as much oxygen as we really need – thus increasing our CO₂ tolerance, which directly affects our fitness, concentration and stress resistance.

Equally essential: clean, living water.

Water is a carrier of energy and information – and forms the basis for all metabolic processes in the body.

This vitality factor connects two fundamental pillars of life: oxygen and water. Those who consciously integrate both into their daily lives in high quality lay the foundation for true health.

Cell membranes as a vital factor: The protective layer of your health

The cell membrane is the outer layer of every cell – it protects, communicates, and regulates what enters and exits. A healthy cell membrane is therefore crucial for energy production, detoxification, and cell communication.

For optimal function, your body needs a balanced supply of healthy fats (especially omega-3 and omega-6 in the right ratio) as well as sufficient phospholipids. At the same time, it is important to consistently reduce unhealthy fats such as trans fats.

If you manage to build up a healthy fatty acid status over at least three months, you deserve the award:

"Healthy cell membrane" – measurable through a sound fatty acid test profile.

Strong mitochondria

Mitochondria are the powerhouses of cells in the body and a vital energy source for humans. However, many may malfunction or fail to function properly, producing energy in an "unclean" manner. This is known as oxidative stress , which generates free radicals that can damage the mitochondria themselves, the cells, and the body. Our goal is to establish a flexible and optimized metabolism that provides you with a constant and sustainable supply of energy.

You will receive the “strong mitochondria” award if you have systematically strengthened the number and quality of your mitochondria over a period of six months while minimizing oxidative stress. This can be easily demonstrated, for example, with the Mito OX Test.

methylierung.jpeg

Methylation expert

Methylation of the body should function properly, as it is important for many processes in our body, such as which genes are switched on or off, or during detoxification .

You will receive the “methylation expert” award if you can demonstrate a constant homocysteine level between 6 and 8 over a period of three months.

detox.png

Powerful detoxifier

Throughout our lives, we are exposed to many environmental toxins and heavy metals . These accumulate in your body and can negatively impact your physical and mental health, as well as your immune system. A thorough detoxification will make you feel better, improve your performance, and promote a healthier lifestyle.

You will receive the “Strong Detoxifier” award if you optimally support phases 1 to 3 of your detoxification over a period of three months and simultaneously build up your gut.

Syxyl_pH-Wert-Skala.png

Balanced acid-base balance

Our bodies strive daily to maintain an optimal environment within our cells, the interstitial fluid, and the blood, with a constant pH value. To achieve this, the body has developed a sophisticated buffer system. You will learn how to support these buffers through a sufficient and optimal intake of selected amino acids , enabling them to function optimally.

You will receive this award if you manage to support your body in this difficult task and thereby achieve a balanced acid-base balance for at least one month.

spurenelemente.jpeg

Replenished minerals and trace elements

Our bodies possess a high degree of intelligence. All they need are sufficient nutrients in molecular form. Therefore, essential minerals, vitamins, and trace elements should always be present in adequate amounts—not too much, but also not too little.

As a rule, most people have suboptimal or even severe deficiencies in minerals and important trace elements in some areas.

You will receive this award if you can prove that you have managed to properly replenish everything and optimally supply your body with essential building blocks over a period of 3-6 months.

mikrobiom.jpeg

Healthy gut and balanced microbiome

Your gut plays a central role in optimizing your health. Besides absorbing your food, it contains your microbiome . This consists of bacteria and fungi (which are mostly small cell clusters). Current estimates place its number at approximately 39 trillion microorganisms ; this is roughly the same as the number of cells in a typical adult human (30 trillion).

You will receive this award if you manage to create a healthy environment for your microbiome, so that on the one hand the gut is "tight" and healthy with a well-functioning intestinal mucosa , and on the other hand you can achieve a natural diversity of your microbiome, so that "good" and "bad" inhabitants can live in balance .

Live inflammation-free, minimize oxidative stress

Our bodies can harbor many "hidden" inflammations that spread unnoticed and initially go unnoticed. Over time, however, these can become chronic, and depending on where and to what extent they occur, they can then become noticeable and have many negative effects on your health. Genetics also plays a significant role. Furthermore, these chronic inflammations increase your oxidative stress.

You receive this award if you have managed to sustainably reduce your inflammation levels and oxidative stress to a consistently low level through specific interventions and lifestyle changes. This can be clearly demonstrated using various inflammatory markers (CRP, TNF-A, IL-1, ESR, white blood cell count, oxidized LDL, lipid peroxidation, etc.).

burnout-yoga.jpeg

Effective sport and exercise

Our bodies are designed for daily movement. Long periods of inactivity and sitting have a negative impact on your lifespan.

But here too, it's important to send the right signals to your body through short, intense workouts, thereby triggering positive stress that helps you become even stronger and more efficient. It's all about finding the right amount: not too much, but not too little either.

You will receive this award if you integrate an effective protocol of sport and exercise into your daily routine.

neurotransmitter.png

Balanced hormones and neurotransmitters

Hormones control and regulate our bodies. Our hormone levels decline over the course of our lives. This has far-reaching effects on our health.

Neurotransmitters are essential for signal processing in our brain and nervous system, playing a key role there. A deficiency can occur due to chronic stress, but also due to a general lack of micronutrients.

You will receive this award if you manage to balance all the important hormones and neurotransmitters.

wissen-wasistlongevity.webp

Longevity Expert - Healthy Long Life

In recent years, the topic of "longevity" has increasingly attracted research interest. Aging is now viewed as a disease that can be cured. The goal is to achieve a long healthspan , or in other words, to maintain optimal health for a long time.

There are various cellular functions you should be aware of, which can then be supported through appropriate interventions. These include cell renewal, energy production, and detoxification.

You will receive this award if you optimally support your cells with a suitable micronutrient protocol for a period of at least 3 months.

meditation-lernen-.jpeg

Living in the now

A high level of awareness is essential for you and your body, and much is built upon your present moment. Often, we humans are caught up in our own thoughts, thinking, worrying, dwelling on the past, and planning for the future. Our minds and the carousel within them never stop spinning, and consequently, you are not truly in the present moment. Experience shows that this state often corresponds to a level of awareness of only 1-2%.

You will receive the “Living in the Now” award if you can significantly increase your level of consciousness over a period of six months.

Mind Master

Good "mind software" can offer enormous support to your mind and body in many ways. Your mind software (i.e., your mind) can be programmed; you can influence and train it!

The software is your personality, your thoughts, your ego, your life, who you are, and what your brain—your hardware—tells you. The mind's software runs on your hardware and gives you your personality (the "ego") as output. With greater awareness, you are able to examine and observe your thoughts.

Your goal as a Mind Master is to use an increased level of awareness through mindfulness exercises to examine your thoughts and optimize your mind.

Metabolic fitness

According to statistics, many of us already suffer from what is known as metabolic syndrome. Metabolic syndrome is diagnosed when certain diseases or symptoms occur together. These primarily include obesity, high blood pressure, and disorders of sugar and lipid metabolism. Factors such as physical inactivity, stress, smoking, and alcohol consumption also play a role in its development.

If no proactive measures are taken, the various problems accumulate and ultimately lead to the notorious "killer" diseases (heart attack, stroke, cancer, Alzheimer's, ...).

This skill is extremely important:

  • Know the criteria

  • What aspects of interventions are helpful?

  • What are some important biomarkers that one should look into?

Then systematically increase your metabolic fitness.

If all relevant biomarkers are in the "green" range, you will receive this award.

Balanced heart rate variability (HRV)

Your heart rate variability (HRV) is a well-established biomarker that has been studied for decades. It represents your body's ability to optimally balance itself and, therefore, your resilience. Objective measurement is now easily achievable, for example, using the Oura Ring. Stress and illness will lower your HRV, and you can improve it by maintaining a good balance between healthy activities, stress reduction, and ample rest.

This skill is very fundamental and therefore deserves your full attention. You will receive an award if you have created an HRV baseline and demonstrably improved it over a period of 3 months.

Transferfactorbasics_whatdotransferfactorsdo.webp

Adaptive and efficient immune system

We are healthy and doing well. It's one of the systems that runs reliably in the background, ensuring that our bodies aren't overrun by bacteria, viruses, parasites, and other pathogenic germs. If this protection is compromised, things can quickly deteriorate, and we suffer damage at the cellular level. However, the immune system is quite complex and requires a steep learning curve.

This competence focuses on establishing a better balance between tolerance and reactivity of the immune system.
